I am a huge Star Wars geek....I have been since the 70's and had all the figures up until a few years ago when I had to grow up and not spend my money on toys. I still enjoy reading and keeping up with Star Wars related events. Coming August 15th is the Clone Wars Movie which will debut in theatre's. This movie will help kick off the animated series which will be aired on cartoon network in the Fall of 2008. This movie and show will take place in between Episode's 2 & 3. I am excited to have something new to look foward to....I hope there is enough action this time.

I am looking for the fun in "LIFE" again

I'll be the first to admit it....I have had a crappy few months with having fun. I used to think about traveling and collecting elongated coins and fishing up at Pierce Pond in the spring and fall. Since November, Maine has had allot of snow and lack of daylight. I think winter is very depressing and uneventful....I cannot travel like I can in the summer since the roads have been bumpy due to the frost heaves along the road. Over the last few weeks I have acquired a nasty habit of clinching my jaw and grinding me teeth at night. I really need to find happiness again...my wife has been ill with several physical limiting conditions, it is enough to concern me into a stupor of anxiety and headaches. Today, I have been thinking again of warmer weather (maybe a month away) and the un-thaw of the ground. I miss the birds and the rustling of the leaves on the trees. I miss the green lawn and the leaves....the haze on the ocean with seagulls in the air. I am looking for the simple things in life again. The fun things in LIFE again. I cannot wait until the snow clears out so I can go geocaching again before the bugs own the woods and drive out animals and muggles. I miss the weekend traveling along the Maine coastline and finding those hidden local diners that seem to hold the nostalgic feel of Maine and what Maine has to offer. Think spring...right!

Paul - thank you for allowing me to borrow your flooring equipment once again (4 times) and your flexibility of meeting me at the barn so I can pick up the stuff at any hour of the day. Paul also gave me an elongated coin from Rhode Island that I did not have.....thanks again

And the snow keeps coming

Wow...it has been snowing all week. Today the snow turned into hard rain that just made a mess outside for drivers. I was moving my van and it slid off the driveway and it is now off to the side and I cannot gain traction to move it. It has been a very frustrating few weeks for my family and with all these little obstacles popping up....it makes me throw my hands in the air and I realize that God has plans for me. I cannot understand why this is happening, but I look foward to moving ahead with these illnesses and health issues and getting back to having a focus and a goal. At this time I spend my downtime sleeping alot...I also have been trying to figure out how and why I am gritting my teeth and even grinding them at night. I think it is stress...but I seem to be stable with everyday issues. My job at work stinks...I am in a bind and looking for a way out within the bank. I will see what lies ahead next week.
